Unfortunately I can confirm that. For me - despite the new qt version - the problem still persists.

Haven't seen the bug since the upgrade, have you rebooted after the upgrade (you might still have the old qt libs in memory)?Comment

@kubicle: Yes, I did reboot the machine. When I read about the fix for the problem in here I already had the fixed library installed. Unfortunately, though, as I had to find out to no avail.Comment

Dang.
I seem to be unaffected with the latest qt 4.8.0 (although I'm using smooth tasks instead of the "stock" task manager).
Have you tried the recently uploaded qt 4.8.1 which should include the fix as well?Comment

Just tried this update. Doesn't work either. Quite easy to reproduce. Open up firefox, then start 2 terminals, close one of 'em - and there you go
