    Fontconfig error during update this afternoon.

    Fontconfig error: "/etc/fonts/conf.d/65-nonlatin.conf", line 169: not well-formed (invalid token)

    <family>Baekmuk Gulim</family> <!-- hangul (ko) -->

    It's a Korean Unicode font, which won't bother English or other language users, but an error during upgrade, and every time you fire up KWrite or other KDE apps is a wart. You'll see the error message when you fire up KWrite or Kate to fix it.

    Konact froze rock solid on me too, dunno if it was related - couldn't restarted it until I fixed the font problem and rebooted. But it might have been just the reboot.

      There wasn't a script error in Font-config error when you updated Precise, i.e., it didn't have the missing ">"?
