No.

Now: Grub -> Plymouth -> KDM -> KsplashX -> Desktop.
or : Grub -> Plymouth -> KDM -> KSplashQML -> Desktop.

The KSplashQML is an alternative to the KsplashX.


Maybe with the Kubuntu 12.04/12.10: Grub -> Plymouth -> LightDM (1*) -> KSplashQML -> Desktop.
