Hello everyone!
This is my first post here, but I'm a long time KDE user (since previous century ;-)! Not so accustomed to Kubuntu habits, so please tell me if this is the right place to put this questions.
Yesterday I updated my Kubuntu 11.10 to KDE 4.8.2 from the kubuntu-ppa/backports PPA. Before that, I was running KDE 4.8.1 and before 4.7.4. Didn't have any problem, and upgrades went smoothly.
Now I see that I can't install a couple of packages for problems with dependencies. They are plasma-widget-smooth-tasks and plasma-widget-adjustableclock.
The first depends on libtaskmanager4abi2, while the second depends on libplasmaclock4abi2, and both can't be installed because they need libkephal4abi1 from 4.7.4.
Obviously I tried updating repositories, but got the same results.
Is it a packaging problem? Or may be something wrong on my system?
Where should I report packaging bugs like these?
thanks in advance,
gerlos
