wrt FireFox - I,ve gone brain dead - plase help

I cannot get firefox, or any other browser, to buy on line. Take this site http://www.bushido.ca/

When I attempt to order, say a new belt (BELTS->Solid Colour Belts->Regular Belt->ADD TO CART)
nothing happens. Yes I have turned on Preferences->Enable JavaScript).
Chrome, at the same site, notes that some resources are not available, and does not work.
Kconq fails to load the site at all

This happens on all javascript requests like the one used for most "ADD TO CART" type operations
    but again javascript is enabled.

Sooo why does this stuff fail??

    Thank you for your time

Works using Chromium Browser (in Precise 12.04). Do you have cookies disabled by chance?

Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

What sort of Java do you have installed, I use Icedtea.
          Works for me too.
Java is not the issue, javascript is not the same as java.
Perhaps a popup blocker/adblock is being too aggressive?

Do you have NoScript installed (as a Firefox add-on)? (If so, as you know, you gotta click "temporarily allow such-and-such-a-site," and so on).

DuckDuckGo does not take cookies etc. so the site may want to place cookies and it can't but I doesn' t actually want to say... Hey let me put a cookie on your machne.
