    Notes Plasmoid/Gadget

Can anyone recommend a good notes plasmoid? I love having a note pad on my desktop, but the KDE Notes app just isn't cutting it. For one thing, I have to manually start it every time I log in. Then I have to close all but the one current note I'm using. I have to use Kontact to manage them. They also appear as an app in tab.

So I was thinking something more like a plasmoid would be great. Integrated right into the desk top with none of the other issues. The only requirement is, I need to be able to change fonts.

    Any recommendations?

The Notes widget should be what you want.

Thanks! I found a notes plasmoid by the same person who developed Basket Notes (http://basket.kde.org/) and am having success with it so far.

What plasmoid would that be? Where is it available? (Others might like to know)

Good call! It was one of two simply called 'Notes' installed with with the plasma-widgets-addons package, which I found on:
