    Libre Office (SOLVED)

    HI,

You know when you cursor an icon? Up comes a mini-window or info tag which explains what the icon represents.

Well . . in my system in Libre Office ONLY these 'info tags' or whatever you may call them are black with no apparent text - so you cannot read them and so you do not know what the icons represent! (Apart from the obvious ones of course.)

    So any ideas?

I've tried various options under 'appearance' and 'effects' just in case but no difference.

    Happy New Year.

      Yo 'woodsmoke' good one.

I changed the background from black to white and all is fine.

Strangely 'tooltip text' is also marked as 'white' but it displays as black!

      Instructions as follows:

go to ....system settings>application appearance>colors>colors......and set tool tip background to what ever you like .

      Thanks.
