    Hi
could you give us a little more info about how you wish to do that?

In a browser? In a player?

Do you have the restricted repos enabled and have installed the video codecs?

I can watch "videos" and have neither of those installed.

Is it something that you "particularly" want to use?

If you can supply some more info, I am sure someone will be along to help.

The Veoh website works just fine with the flashplayer plug-in in Firefox.

If you want a native Veoh video downloader application, I don't know of one.

        Hi
        I'll confirm what Telengard said.

The site said to grab a player so I did.

It is a "DOS/windows" executable, which tried to run under "mono runtime", but didn't work at all.

WINE tried to run it got about halfway through and stopped with "encountered a serious problem".

So.... looks as if Telengard is correct.

Which is why I don't use Veoh anymore. The software itself is a customized torrent client. So while you can watch some videos on the website, download only videos require the client. They've had years to recognize GNU/Linux users, and AFAIK done nothing.

Youtube exists and works fine on GNU/Linux.

              Hi...

You can download Adobe AIR here. Adobe stopped supporting AIR for Linux after 2.6 so you will need to scroll down and look for that version.

EDIT: Actually, an easier solution can be found here. It installed ok for me. However, I would download the newer version listed in the link above, then run the commands listed in this link.

minitube is great - doesn't use flash!

Miro also makes a Linux client and I do use it from time to time as well.

Yes, I imagine flash photography would interfere with the objectives of Minitube's customers:
