    Thunderbird window size

    Hi All,

Got a shiny new install of 11.10. I'm using Thunderbird for an email client.

When I start Thunderbird, it takes up approximately half the screen. I'll click the "expand" button on the window manager (middle button @ top right) and expand the window full screen. After finishing with email, I'll select the "file" menu and then select "quit". The next time I open Thunderbird, it restarts again at half screen. How do I make it remember it's supposed to start full screen?

    Thanks!

Do this. Launch Thunderbird. Then click-drag it to a smaller window size (it doesn't matter how much smaller - just make it smaller than when it started). Now use the maximize button and then File > Quit. Relaunch and see if it remembered it's full-screen size.

Snowhog, let my add my thanks too. I have no idea why that worked, but it did, and the road to nirvana is traveled by eliminating little annoyances like this. Thanks!
