SOLVED: How do I set a KDE theme?

I know this sounds simple but the KDE desktop has so many different ways of being set up that I'm confused by what sets what and how they inter-relate.

If my theme is oxygen-molecule GTK+ theme, how how a get some new theme that is not GTK+ and how do I change it? Does this affect all the different desktop widgets? Are there inter-relations between themes and other desktop stuff? The reason I ask is that I did an up grade rather than a clean install and I'm getting some odd problems that may be related to the oxygen-molecule GTK+ theme conflicting with left over settings from my 11.04 version.

Or another approach. If I changed the theme from oxygen-molecule GTK+ in 11.04 would there be default settings in the 11.10 upgrade that would conflict with leftovers from the 11.04 switch?

Re: How do I set a KDE theme?

I got some help elsewhere. If fact if you used oxygen-molecule GTK+ theme in 11.04 and then changed one of the settings in desktop appearance there are other places like "colors" where the theme is still present. So when I upgraded the leftovers caused problems. Purging all instances of oxygen-molecule GTK+ from 'Application appearance' fixed the problem.

So now how do I mark this thread solved?
