I had been using Guarddog with no problems in 11.04. Now when I try to run it I get an error code when I try to make a change. It is "ERROR - can't determine the firewall command (Is ipchains or iptables installed?)"
Yes they are. I assume there is some other library I need to install for Guarddog to be able to modify the iptables. On the other had I don't know much so maybe not. Is this a solvable problem, unlike getting kmail to work?
