Does Plasma-netbook store it's own settings?

I've got a notebook that I want to use to play around with the plasma-netbook. I've already figured out how to switch to it (Workspace Behavior/workspace).

My question is that if I switch to the netbook workspace, and start configuring it, will the settings and configurations for the desktop be retained?

If so, does that mean I can just switch back and forth, and have separate settings for both?

A few times I've switched between them and it comes back the way I left it.

In the end I decided to use the regular plasma desktop with an auto hiding taskbar and some links on the desktop.
