I finally got through the problems i had with team speak which was setting the mike up too use the back mike port( i knew was simple).
Now i have a problem running world of Warcraft. The game installs flawlessly updates an charter creation works.
the problems I have i think are related. problem
1. i get a whole 4 FPS in the game.
2. the PC an npc's are missing the image from the waste down. everyone floats in the air.
Again I am sure this is something minor. As supposedly WOW is suppose too run really good under wine.
PC specs:
kubuntu 11.10
cd intel duel core 64 bit.
2 GB ram
video intel corp82633/631
I have looked at the thread for world of Warcraft in the win wiki an under Ubuntu's form as was posted too do an followed the instructions. from editing the registry an such the only thing i couldn't do was.
Find the file wtf/Config.wtf in your main WoW directory. By default it is found in /home/<username>/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/World\ of\ Warcraft/, where <username> is you computer login name.
Open config.wtf using a text editor and add or change the following line:
SET gxApi "opengl"
as i cant find the file it is telling you too look for. I think this has something too do with when i go into wine an try too explore the c drive it gives the following error.
Unable to run the command specified. The file or folder file:///home/joe/Documents/.wine/dosdevices/c: does not exist.
thanks for any help you can provide.
