Hi, I'm new Linux user, so pls be patient.
I have installed KDE on Ubuntu 11.10 and now i have problems with update, installation of programs and some settings etc. because of missing authentication window.
For example - i cant install or update with Muon or Ubuntu SW center, because no authentication pop up appears, i cant change my login settings because if i do it via - settings/ login screen at the end no authentication appears and i have only error message on screen Unable to authenticate/execute the action: (code 4).
But i can make updates / installation with update manager or Synaptic -because the authentication window appears and i can type my password.
If i log on the system as Ubuntu and not as KDE it all works again...
Can some1 pls help me?
