shutdown dropping network before unmounting nfs

This is an old bug that seems to have resurfaced.

    https://bugs.launchpad.net/debian/+s...it/+bug/211631

My netbook refuses to shut down unless I unmount NFS shares first. My understanding is this is a wpa_supplicant bug, so you'll only see it if you mount NFS shares over a wireless connection, but Oneiric is dropping the network before unmounting NFS shares, causing a hang during shutdown.

    Grumble.

Can you edit the etc/rc6.d file and change the priority of the umount script?

edit: When I switched the order of S35 networking and S40umountfs the machine reboots normally - but I don't have any problem with a wired connection dropping networking first. Strange.
