I want to exclude useless for me software during installation Kubuntu. 8)
I boot up my system with kubuntu-11.10-dvd-amd64 and install Kubuntu in text mode. In 'Software selection' menu I choose 'Kubuntu desktop' and 'Manual package selection'. Then aptitude starts up and I choose submenu: Tasks – Unrecognized task – kubuntu-desktop
and remove "-" following packages:
akregator
amarok
amarok-common
amarok-utils
dragonplayer
kamera
kaddressbook
kde-config-touchpad
kdegames-card-data
kdepim-groupware (and by dependences kdepim-kresources, kdepim-wizards)
kmail
knotes
kontact
kopete
kopete-message-indicator
korganizer
kpat
kppp
kubuntu-firefox-installer
kvkbd
plasma-widget-facebook
quassel
quassel-data
and install "+" following package:
firefox-locale-en
There isn't any error in dependences, and I start up the installation "g" "g".
Result is 'Processing was halted because there were too many error'
I checked my disk for defects, it's OK, 'no errors found'.
Questions: What do I do wrong? Why do these errors occur?
