Oxygen Theme not working as root!

Hello I encounter strange problem with KDE apperance settings for root user. While for regular user everything works fine I cannot set qt style for root user. I try to run systemsettings by kdesudo systemsettings and I am able to change style in the list. After selecting one the preview changes. When I click apply it saves the settings (name) but starting any application (for example restarting systemsettings) won't change window style, although it shows recently selected style.

I found some reports on that
    http://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthr...ghlight=oxygen
    http://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthr...ghlight=oxygen

But they didn't help me. I removed even entire /root/.kde and /root/.config but that didn't help

I tried copy /usr/lib/kde4/plugins/styles to /usr/lib/qt/plugins/styles and even make symlink in /usr/qt -> /usr/qt4 and added QT_PLUGIN_PATH to /root/.bashrc but also without desired result.

I can change all other settings, icons, fonts, colors event gtk theme but not qt style. I am running out of ideas what to do. It this would be regular user I would simply create new one and copy folders folders from the old one but I have no clue how to handle root user.

    I'm usiny Kubuntu 11.10 X86_64 with KDE/Qt 4.7.4
