[Solved] Thumbnails moving smoothly when hovering buttons in taskbar

    HI,
I have installed Kubuntu 11.10 on my Samsung laptop. One of the first things I noticed after the installation was the way the thumbnails move when I hover the program buttons in the taskbar. It was so nice smooth, as if they accelerate and decelerate. Also they are always a bit behind the cursor.
Then after tinkering with some effects I suddenly saw that the thumbnails now just jump from one button to the next when I hover. Something I don't like so much.
What could I have done to achieve this and more important how can I get the smooth movement of the thumbnails again?

    Anyone?

I have found it. It has nothing to do with he effect that takes care of the windows previews, or thumbnails as they are called in KDE. It is the system setting: Application Appearance.
In there choose Style on the left and on the right side TAB Fine Tuning.
In the dropdown bar for Graphical effects I had chosen High Display Resolution and Low CPU. I now chose High CPU and the effect works again like I want it to. Choice Very High CPU doesn't bring that much extra so I don't use that one.
I just wanted to step through all the settings to find the right one. Hdppily the 2nd one was the right one already. Saves me some time.
