I downloaded and upgraded Virtualbox to 4.1.4, and while I was at it, I installed Kubuntu 11.10. I did have 9.04 installed, but upgrading it failed. I didn't have anything important on it, so I re-formatted and installed 11.10.
11.10 boots and runs agonizingly slow. Just barely under the usable speed. After clicking on something, it takes a second or two before a response.
I have 5 other OS's installed in VB, and all runs well except Kubuntu.
I am running a E4600 core2duo 2.4GHZ (no VT-x), with 4.5gb ram.
Any ideas?
