Oneiric => fsck runs at every boot and find errors, shut down problem? [SOLVED]
Re: Oneiric => fsck runs at every boot and find errors, shut down problem? UNSOLVED
have/do you use BUM/startup-manager?
I had the same issue as you, and was caused by messing up initscripts
No, I don't. But I noticed that I fixed the problem and then installed VMWARE Player 4 and it changed the scripts back, so I needed tho change them again.
Re: Oneiric => fsck runs at every boot and find errors, shut down problem? UNSOLVED
On my debian kde system, I have VMware Player 4.0 installed. I just checked /etc/rc0.d and found a "K01vmware" script. But the filesystem umount and the halt calls are in sensible sequence, and later.
