Kubuntu GUI gone after install [Solved]

Hi Folks,

I would appreciate your help!

I WAS running Ubuntu 11.04, and then utilized apt-get to install Kubuntu on top. All was well, and I was loving the GUI. I was informed of the 11.10 update, so I went ahead and did it. All went fine, except, now I'm just running Ubuntu 11.10 and everything Kubuntu is not showing.

Does anyone know how I can get this resolved?

Just being a dummy I suppose. Failed to know that during logon, I have the option of which Desktop I would like to use.
