    Can't quite install 11.10

Hello, I tried to install kubuntu 11.10 via USB and the process seemed to go smoothly.
    "Installation complete, restart your computer"..
"remove boot device and close the tray (if any) then press ENTER"..

But on the reboot phase I got a "insert boot device" message.. I rebooted, trying to change the BIOS settings in order not to ask for a boot device but it went on.

So, i inserted the flashdisk once again and i'm stuck on this "try kubuntu or install kubuntu" screen..

I have absolutely no experience in linux, total newbie, so the solution may be sth very basic and simple.

Oh, and reading this (http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3118722.0) I wonder if it matters that i checked both options.. "Download updates while installing" and "Install this software"..

    Hi...

    Welcome to the forums

I'm not sure how simple the solution will be but in case it helps, here is a thread on the Ubuntu forums that addresses a similar issue.

It sounds like GRUB was installed incorrectly.

    Hope this helps...
