Need a recommendation for a PCI NIC that autodetects and works in Kubuntu. The Netgear GA-311 doesn't. Even a wireless card would work. 100BASE-T is all I really need. It's easier to toss money at the problem then edit 5 files, recompile the kernel, and waste another week.

From what I have read, the Netgear FA310TX works pretty well, even though it's an older card.
EDIT: Because of its age, you might have to settle for a refurbished one.
