Support for the iPod Touch is still under development. My attempts to sync my iPod Touch 3GS with Amarok/Kubuntu hit a brick wall. I am waiting for an untethered jail break for iOS 5.x to test alternative routes... The use of an encrypted file system on the Touchs' is just plain annoying...

BTW wierdly enough I found a few months ago that XBMC (11.x/git) now has one the nicest GUI rippers out there (sync's meta-data and supports FLAC, etc.) Always worth a shot 8)
