I have an old Palm Pilot that I wish I could use with Oneiric. A few releases back (Lucid?) I was able to use kpilot to sync the device with korganizer, kaddressbook, etc., but kpilot is apparently not compatible with Oneiric since it's not in Synaptic's software list. jpilot does work, but it doesn't talk to any of the KDE PDA software like korganizer.
The OpenSync project was supposed to produce software that would solve this problem, but that project is apparently defunct.
I'm beginning to think that I may just have to buy a new PDA that does sync with Oneiric. But I most definitely do not want to buy an iPhone or an i-anything. I don't need the telephony and I don't want to pay for it, especially when it involves a maintenance contract. Plus, the fact that Apple is so resolutely opposed to the concept of open-source software makes me reluctant to buy any of their devices.
Is there a PDA that will fit the bill?
