    No Touchpad Found!

I have read just about every post on this forum. I have installed everything that needs installed, tried it all. It still says "no touchpad found". What can I do now, I need help please? If any one can help I would appreciate it, thank you.

Have you installed the package kde-config-touchpad?

Same problem in my case with a new Acer 5750G. kde-config-touchpad only provides settings if the touchpad is found but does nothing to find it. I just got rid of the message by deleting kde-config-touchpad and using a Fn key combo to disable the touchpad when I am using a mouse.
