    Now running 11.10 64-bit

Installed the 21-Sep-2011 daily build yesterday. Installed on to two partitions ( / and /home) prepared with GParted, opting not to have updates downloaded while installing. Install went flawlessly. Everything on my HP is working, including the built-in webcam (after installing guvcview today). Activated (also today) the Broadcom STA wireless driver, which I haven't tested (under 11.10), but know that it works just fine under 11.04.

The only application that didn't work was Dragon Player. Even after adding the Medibuntu repository and installing the required packages, Dragon Player would not play my DVD's, complaining about missing/needed GStreamer plugins. Even when I installed all of them ('good', 'bad', and 'ugly'), Dragon Player would not play the DVD's. Installed Kaffeine, and it has no problems playing my DVD's, so I opted to keep it and uninstall Dragon Player.

I honestly don't notice what ever improvements 11.10 has over 11.04, but it is working just fine. Haven't tried (yet) to utilize Kontact/KMail, but will likely get to that latter. Until then, when I'm in 11.10, I can just go to my ISP Webmail account.

Life with Kubuntu is (and continues to be) good. 8)

Just fired up Kontact. VERY simple. It asked a few questions about my ISP account and that was it. Once running, and it did run just fine, I closed it and copied my ~/.local/share/contacts folder from Natty, fired up Kontact again, and synced the Contacts folder in Kontact. All my contact folders are present, each with their individual contacts fully intact and usable. This is the easiest setup of Kontact I've experienced - I didn't have to do any tweaking or play around with akonadi at all! VERY, VERY NICE. 8) 8)

Installed it on my daughters desktop yesterday. Runs smoothly and she even noticed how well it ran compared to 10.10, which is the version she was running. I've been using it "production" for a while without too much, if any, hassles. Love it!!

Me thinks I spoke to soon. I am having some issues which I'm sure I'll be able to figure out - eventually, but for now, Kontact/KMail isn't working as it should for incoming mail.

Okay, Kontact/KMail is now working as it should. I had to enable the KDE wallet subsystem in order to be able to include/save the POP3 Incoming password.

This should be fixed in 4.7.2

Installed the 9/26/11 daily build of the 64-bit. So far everything works as expected. Excellent performance from flash, including full-screen mode. I don't care for the default Muon package manager so installed Synaptic. Other than that it is running great with no problems.

Same here, altough i did try it out and it seems it will soon be able to replace synaptic (at least on KDE)
                    Also, debconf-kde is fantastic

I install it couple days ago and everything I use works as should except it will not use my Logitech MX5500 wireless keyboard and mouse. I have not been able to find a work a around anywhere. I suspect there may be some issue with bluetooth.

Anyone of you experience this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=275469 ?

I wont use kde 4.7 until this is fixed. Yes, it annoys me that much

Confirmed here. Doesn't bother me, but it's definitely strange.

Same here. It depends on my mood if it annoys me. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. As such I just live with it.
