[solved] Muon update manager never has permission to install

This Muon update manager which pops up when I click the icon indicating that there are updates available, never installs the updates. It says it doesn't have permission.

Whatever the update manager was in 10.x, didn't have this problem. Is there a way to fix this?

Going to the command line and doing apt-get upgrade works, but I assume the gui should work too.

    Thanks in advance.

Hmm. Noticed the same problem. Run it as:

    kdesudo muon

Seems to be a bug in muon that doesn't ask for root authorization. As I recall it used to do that.
