so sence I made some testing partitions on this box ............I desided to go ahead and use 1 for 11.10 
/sda2=11.04 /
/sda3=11.04 /home
/sda5=new 11.10 install
/sda6=empty partition for testing
/sda7=empty storage partition
the install whent fine using the the daily live image from a day or 2 ago
the first thing I noticed was my wifi card got support with the new 3+ seres kernel
it a Ralink corp. Device 5390 and in 11.04 it was necessary to compile the driver from source but that worked just fine as well
the lspci is as follows
it's a HP-G62 lappy with 4 Gig RAM and a core I3 
been up 12 hours and so far so good
this is kinda weard but ?
anyway will add to this as I find/don't find problems 8)
