kopete dead?

is kopete a dead or active project?

googling shows it being dead as of 2005ish. can't find much more on it.

If kopete is a dead project we should consider a replacement default eventually

I mean are they still working on it/updating it/creating new code for it

Kopete ver. 4.6.5-1 is presently in the Debian Sid repo, so I would say it still has a developer assigned to it.

cool, that's good i think, i like kopete but would like it to be a bit more refined.

while kopete isn't actually dead, there isn't a whole lot of work being done on it currently as far as I know.

the kde telepathy project probably will supersede kopete in the future.
