Taskbar doesn't show running programs [SOLVED]

I just had to reinstall Natty, and my fresh taskbar does not show the programs that are running. Seems to me I've seen this problem before and there's an easy fix; the taskbar on the damaged installation didn't have this shortcoming..

For example, if I'm running Firefox and minimize it, there's no indication anywhere on the Desktop (that I know of and can see) that it's running. I've already started second instances of a couple of programs because I didn't know they were already running.

    Can anyone help?

It sounds like you don't have the Task Manager widget installed to the Panel.

Ah, thanks, Snowhog. That did it.
