I was helping a friend who was trying to install Digikam 2.0 (beta) today on his 11.04 system, from the Philip Johnsson repo, and we ended up here:
This is a 32-bit system. But I was able to install it on my 64-bit system without this core dump error. I can't tell from his error output what triggered the core dump, except that was the openni-utils package. That package is installed satisfactorily on my 64-bit system.
Anyone else messing with these packages?
