delete file larger than trash

I am trying to delete a huge file but dolphin is saying that my trash is full and i should empty it. How should i delete the file?
Should dolphin offer the option of permanently deleting the file bypassing trash if the file size is too big?

highlight the file then hold down shift and hit delete
this bypasses the trash bin .

Also check under Dolphin's settings. You can change the size of the Trash OR you can make it not care how much you put it in it. You can also put a separate Delete button in the right-click menu.
