KMail IMAP issue since KDE 4.7 upgrade

Hi.

I just upgraded to KDE 4.7 from the Kubuntu PPA. I did not upgrade KDEPIM, so I still have KMail version 1.13.6 (package is 4:4.4.10-0ubuntu4).

Since the upgrade, KMail shows an error when trying to upload messages to the server (messages that are moved to folders by filtering). The error message says:

Could not upload the message dated (...)
The server reported:
Missing message size

The error dialog pops up once for every message received since the upgrade, I now have to click "Continue" more than 30 times each time I check my mail, making KMail unusable,

I had no issue before the KDE 4.7 upgrade...

Any suggestion? (I don't know if I should upgrade to KMail2, I don't want to loose data...).

I never saw this problem, but I am using Kmail2 with no issues at all. Many issues that bothered me with old KMail are fixed now. Just back up your existing .kde folder and try KMail2. I think you'll be fine.

got the same issue.

I tested kmail2 on my other machine and got big trouble with akonadi etc.. so I won't install it here.

so far I moved to Pop3...
any further solutions?
