[SOLVED] MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter

Hi all!

Does anyone else out there apart from me use the MP3 to iPod Audio Book Converter found at the other end of the following link:

I have found now that it doesn't appear to work in Kubuntu 11.04, it converts evrything and all looks fine but when i try to add it to my Ipod via 'gtkpod iPod Manager' it throws up error messages stating analysis failed.

I know it worked flawlessly in Ubuntu before I moved to Kubuntu, I remember though if I've ever used it in Kubuntu until now.

I was therefore curious to know if anyone else uses it?

I believe I have discovered that the problem is not the 'MP3 to iPod Audio Book converter' but 'gtkpod' it won't import 'm4b' files. I believe the problem is due to the fact that the version in Kubuntu is 1.0.0 when 2.0.2 is out.

However I'm not sure how to upgrade to 2.0.2 in Kubuntu.

I have solved the problem with gtkpod not importing iPod audio-book files see post:

I don't think an upgrade is required any more.
