Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc).
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
Please clarify. You're saying that you can print .pdf files, and/or print to .pdf? There isn't a PDF directory created - they all print to your Documents folder unless you specify a different location.

Not in Kubuntu at the moment - running Ubuntu 11.04 - but when you opt to print and select .pdf there is something on the popup that allows you to select where to print it to. Look closely; you'll find it.

P.S. It does create a PDF folder in my home folder, it does not put them in the documents folder.
This is the default behavior, but you can specify where to save the .pdf.

doesn't appear that is the case when using wine though...unless there is a config file someplace that I don't know about...when printing something from Kate, I can specify in the printer dialog, but when printing from a wine program, I can't...but it's fine, the ~/PDF folder is fine with me.
