    Can't get cups-pdf to work

It appears to print correctly, but their is no PDF directory in my home folder, and if I create one, it still doesn't print...any ideas?

Please clarify. You're saying that you can print .pdf files, and/or print to .pdf? There isn't a PDF directory created - they all print to your Documents folder unless you specify a different location.

hmmm...my documents folder is a symlink to a NTFS drive...how do I change the default location? I can't seem to find out how...

Not in Kubuntu at the moment - running Ubuntu 11.04 - but when you opt to print and select .pdf there is something on the popup that allows you to select where to print it to. Look closely; you'll find it.

well, I finally got it to work. I uninstalled it, and reinstalled, and now it magically works. Weird.

P.S. It does create a PDF folder in my home folder, it does not put them in the documents folder.

This is the default behavior, but you can specify where to save the .pdf.

doesn't appear that is the case when using wine though...unless there is a config file someplace that I don't know about...when printing something from Kate, I can specify in the printer dialog, but when printing from a wine program, I can't...but it's fine, the ~/PDF folder is fine with me.
