SOLVED: Firefox not launching on 64-bit Kubuntu 11.04

The package manager option for Firefox is 5.0-b5+build1+no|. When I click to launch Firefox it starts up but never completes getting started. It was working up until recently and I had added the Web of Trust and Flash-Aid addons. (FWIW, Firefox is working OK on my 32-bit Kubuntu 11.04 partition). If anyone has a clue how to solve this, please let me know.- Thanks

You might try to run it in safe mode, then remove the plug ins to see if it comes back to life.

On Linux, you can go to your Terminal and run (for Firefox):
    /path/to/firefox/firefox -safe-mode

Thanks. I entered firefox -safe-mode in the konsole, then firefox and it started. I'll have to remember that in case it happens again.
