    Where is Libreoffice 3.4?

Does anyone know when Libreoffice will show up in PPA, why it is so delayed, or when we can expect it? I have been waiting for more than a week. I have updated my system, and I have the Rep. of libreoffice already. Please help here.

    http://www.libreoffice.org/download/

Both the previous final and the 3.4 final are available from that website. Be sure to check the system requirements for Linux to be sure your hardware and kernel are the right stuff.

The Document Foundation do not recommend that ordinary users jump on board 3.4 until it is at 3.4.1 and state that 3.4.0 is intended for testers only - so be warned

I just install the Libreoffice .debs that I download from their website. I too am impatient and cannot wait for someone to create a repository for easier installation.

Oh and if you are interested in installing them, the easiest way to install them all at once is to go to the directory and open the terminal and type: sudo dpkg -i *.deb

Save your deb package, or remember its name, if you want to as easily uninstall it.

Correct me if I'm wrong GG, but won't dpkg -l |grep ii list all packages that are installed?

I wouldn't remember that I had saved them somewhere, even less where I had made a list of them...

Ya, but that's easy for you to remember. Unless I wrote it down somewhere I'd have trouble remembering either the name or the command.

                  Thank God for Google.
