    FLASH KEEPS BREAKING! WTF

    Im am permanently wairy of installing flash updates because im not sure if its going to break the existing flash install. Now i have to fix my laptop and all my famillies laptops that are auto updating. How is such a major thing like this slipping through the cracks all the time? This is the 3rd time I have had t deal with flash updates breaking. >

    Flash works just fine here after the newest update.

      Try FlashAid. It's been mentioned here numerous times. There are many advantages for using it, not the least of which is that it purges older versions.

        although i can't say that it was broken since i can remember

          Sweet Flash aid fixed it well as my usual methods of correcting this problem did not work.

          ps. it has happened 3 times on different computers all vanilla setups. not sure what causes it other than it usually happend after a flash update occurs.

            Flash works here on my laptop as well, and it (Flash) was updated today: flashplugin-installer flashplugin-nonfree
            Windows no longer obstructs my view.

              I had a similar problem - downgrade was a solution.
              Updating the drivers of my videocard (intel i855) ensured the new version works.
