[SOLVED] Cant login after adding next user.

Hi!
After I add new user using "User Management", I cant login anymore! Instead of automatic login it pops some error message and then shows login screen. My password is not valid anymore, even I did not change it!
When I tryed to login by the new user, his pasword worked, but imedially it says something like "You need instantly change your password, user root requires". Then shows up password change dialog. BUT! Right after my keyboard dont work! And after next 30-40 second system freezes...

Partially.
I succesfully changed password of the new user.
BUT - I cant login into MY acount! My password is no longer valid, even in console login!
How to recover/reset my pass??

OK, tryed...

root console:
passwd mar

"user mar does not exist"

But all my files in /home/mar/ still exist!

The "/home/mar/" is a directory. Directories can exist after the user has been erased.

Unix-like operating systems identify users within the kernel by an unsigned integer value called a user identifier, often abbreviated to UID or User ID. The range of UID values varies amongst different systems; at the very least, a UID represents a 15-bit integer, ranging between 0 and 32767, with the following restrictions:

The superuser must always have a UID of zero (0).

The user “nobody” traditionally got the largest possible UID (as the opposite of the superuser): 32767. More recently, systems have assigned the user a UID in the system range (1–100, see below) or in the range 65530–65535.

Convention reserves UIDs from 1 to 100 for system use; some manuals recommend reserving UIDs from 101 up to 499 (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or even up to 999 (Debian) as well.

The UID value references users in the /etc/passwd file...

SOLVED!
Thanks for help!
The problem was:
When I install this system, I used: Name: MaR, Login name: mar.
When I add next user, User Management some-how ( ?) mistook my login name! Only thing I needed, was to login as MaR, not as mar. My password is still the same. Fortunately, by User Management I was able to rename my login back. Otherwise, I should change my paths everywhere... (Linux is sensitive for capital letters in names in filesystem, compared to billdows.)
