Disable pesky and persistent Set up mobile broadband dialog?

I see this dialog pop up every time I un-sleep or boot my notebook. How can I suppress it?

If you don't intend to use mobile broadband, my work around was to uninstall a package called modemmanager.

It is only for mobile broadband and I haven't come across any unintended consequences yet.
