A couple of small problemd (amarok & dual monitor)

Hello
Things have improved but...

I cannot get any sound out of amarok (or Juk)) but DVDs & firefox work fine

I cannot get sound out of the cgoban app (Java) from KGS

The sound levels are always very low on login - yes I set "restore volumes"

The dual monitor setup still refuses to remember anything at login &
the display bar does not extend all of the way across the monitor.
