I want gkellm to autostart when KDE boots.
I have found 3 options to do this:
Now all 3 options start up Gkrellm on KDE boot, but all 3 also leave the gkrellm box sitting in the panel taking up real estate and cluttering the panel.
In Kubuntu 10.xx I could use option 2 or 3 above and the panel box for the app would not sit in the panel taking up space.
So, my question is how to autostart gkrellm under KDE in Kubuntu 11.04 without the app box in the panel?
I have found 3 options to do this:
- leave gkellm running on shutdown
- copy 'gkrellm' to the '~/.kde/Autostart' directory
- use System Settings->Startup and Shutdown->Autostart' which is nearly the same as 2 except it puts the Desktop file in '~/.config/autostart'
