Virtual Desktop Names Lost After Logout (KDE 4.6.3 Regression)

After updating to KDE 4.6.3 (using ppa:kubuntu-ppa) I've noticed that my virtual desktop names, are lost every time I log out.

It turns out that this problem has already been noticed and fixed with a patch:

Is there any chance of Kubuntu releasing this fix via a PPA?

There is. As you can read here, it will be fixed in kde 4.6.4 . FYI KDE releases bugs fix every month, so let's just wait

Ah great, I was hoping that KDE (and Kubuntu) had some kind of plan for regressions.
