[SOLVED] How to replace gnome with kde

I was screwing around trying to get url links in Evolution to work. I installed a whole bunch of stuff like GConf, the Gnome control center, and a lot of other stuff that sounded like it would be useful to be able get this feature to work in Evolution. What I got instead was a gnome desktop replacing kde. How do I switch it back?

    Thanks,

It probably is already there. At your login screen is a dropdown combo box in the lower left corner. Click on it and you'll find desktop environment options. Choose KDE. Login.

IF KDE is not an option then log into Gnome, open a console:
    sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install kde-plasma-desktop

Then reboot. At the login screen check to make sure the KDE desktop is the default or is selected.

      Thinks,

That was an easy fix. I did have the option to log in with kde!
