    menubar cannot be unhide. invisible

I am using Kubuntu 11.04. KDE
The menubars in all applications are not visible. The shortcut Ctrl + M will not work.
There is a widget that shows the menubar. Here you can see under settings "show menubar".
    But it does not work.
What system setting will show me the menubar?

    Regards,

Are you running netbook or desktop version? In netbook version hidden menu is the normal behaviour. Menu button is top left on the display.

Maybe the last help is to delete ~/.kde folder with all settings and let system generate the new one.

[SOLVED] Re: menubar cannot be unhide. invisible

          OK that works.
I diffed ~/.kde.old with ~/.kde but could not find any reason.
