The "Application Launcher" menu, if assigned to desktop mouse clicks rather than brought up via a panel widget, launches applications twice every time.
How to reproduce (if you do have the same problem): Bring up the Desktop settings (or Folder View settings, whichever your desktop uses), switch to the "Mouse Actions" page, and assign "Application Launcher" to a mouse button. Then launch any application(s) that way.
This cropped up after the KDE 4.6.3 upgrade. Am a bit miffed because this was one of my favourite KDE "shortcuts"...
