When Kubuntu 11.04 first was released, I tried to install this OS on a 64 bit AMD with a Nvidia Gforce 7300GS video card. It crashed my system. When I first opened up the OS after install it would freeze to the login screen ands never get past it. Recently I heard that Nvidia has come out with a new driver to correct some of the problems that some users would encounter with installing certain Nvidia cards. Is this true? Can I install the new version of Kubutu with confidence now? Please give feedback. Thank you.
