    Buy Kubuntu DVD

    Hello all,

It may not be the best part of the forum to post that but I wanted to bring my issue.

Since Ship it closed, you cannot get a free cd/dvd of kubuntu shipped to you.
I live in the US, what would be the best site to buy from ?

      Re: Buy Kubuntu DVD

If push came to shove I would not have a problem burning the odd cd and sending it to someone resident in the UK who can't download or obtain elsewhere.

      However:

and we also have a thriving linux magazine scene (there are 3 to my knowledge) that issue monthly DVD. For example, look what £7 gets you this month - a dvd with 10 (yes 10) distros on it!

        Thanks guys.

The real reason beyond my request is that I really like to have a disk-jacket for the cd/dvd of ubuntu, as well as to have a printed cd.
Do you guys know if it is possible to download the jackets ?

It was interesting to see kubuntu's positioning on distrowatch - 27, and some of the names it trails.

Makes sense in view of the almost zero marketing it gets.
